Membrane: Helly Tech® waterproof, windproof and breathable laminate with fully taped seams (model dependent)
Insulation: Lightweight synthetic or LifaLoft™ thermal insulation on insulated styles for high warmth-to-weight performance
Lining: Quick-dry mesh or smooth lining to improve moisture management and comfort over base layers
Hood: Adjustable hood (often helmet-compatible on technical models) with high protective collar and reinforced brim
Zips & pockets: Front zip with storm flap; zipped hand and chest pockets positioned for easy access with rucksack or buoyancy aid
Fit: Technical, articulated cut with pre-shaped sleeves to enhance freedom of movement
Adjustments: Hook-and-loop cuff tabs and hem drawcord to seal out wind, spray and spindrift and fine-tune the fit
Use: Designed for sailing, skiing, hiking and all-weather everyday wear in coastal or mountain environments
Care: Close all zips and fastenings, machine wash on gentle with technical detergent; hang to dry and reapply DWR treatment as needed

Helly Hansen jackets generally fit true to size, with a technical cut designed to layer comfortably over a base layer and a light mid-layer. We recommend choosing the same size you usually wear in outdoor or ski jackets.

If you prefer a more relaxed look or plan to wear thicker insulated layers underneath, you may feel more comfortable going up one size. Articulated sleeves and an ergonomic pattern are designed to give you full freedom of movement without excess bulk.
